Set on the lane of a small working farm with lots of lovely walks direct from the grounds it is ideal for couples looking for a rural retreat. There is plenty to see and do in the area including visits to the popular Tamar Lakes which offer a variety of water sports and fishing as well as some excellent walking opportunities. The small sandy coves of Sandymouth and Duckpool and the larger beaches at Bude are just a short drive away. Other attractions in the area include RHS Rosemoor Gardens at Torrington the delightful fishing villages of Appledore and Clovelly and pretty Instow where you can sit and relax in the sand dunes or hire bikes and cycle along the Tarka Trail. Slightly further afield but still within easy reach days out could include Cornwall s Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan.
