There are many original features such as exposed beams and charming fireplaces in many rooms. The property is approached via steps to the front entrance and very steep steps down to the back entrance (children and elderly beware). The small bustling town of Brixham has many restaurants and small shops why not try crabbing off the harbour! There are a wealth of beaches and rocky coves nearby all well worth a visit. Returning in the evening why not enjoy a glass of wine on the front patio whilst watching the sun set over Brixham. This cottage offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double with feature ornamental stone fireplace and views to the harbour. 1 bunk bedroom. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. The harbour and town is a 15 minute walk away or if you would rather catch the bus from the bus stop opposite the property. Once in the town you are spoilt for choice. You might wish to sample the food in one of the many restaurants or stroll around one of Britain s most beautiful working harbours you may even want to have an attempt at crabbing! Take a boat trip to fully appreciate the magnificent UNESCO Geo Park coastline. Shoalstone Beach and Shoalstone outdoor seawater pool are a short walk away as is Berry Head Country Park with wonderful sea views across Torbay and the English Channel. Follow the coast path and experience the unspoilt coves along the way. Then come home and relax on the south facing patio. Venturing further afield you can catch the ferry from Brixham or a traditional steam train from Paignton to Dartmouth which has a good selection of shops and restaurants. Alternatively if you fancy a drive Plymouth with its Hoe and Barbican or the cathedral city of Exeter or Dartmoor National Park are slightly further away but still easily accessible.
