The small village of Prixford lies less than half an hour's drive from the wonderful North Devon Coastline and a choice of superb beaches. The surrounding countryside with rolling hills and wooded valleys offers miles of paths for walking, riding or cycling and there is a good choice of golf courses nearby. If you like to take your country pursuits closer to home, the spring fed carp and trout ponds at the bottom of the garden provide a perfect spot for a little fishing. Fabulous Marwood Hill Gardens is within a ten minute walk, and if you visit on a Sunday be sure to try the delicious cream tea in Marwood Church Hall. Part of the farmhouse dates back to 1684 and it has been sympathetically extended and restored to feature flagstone floors, exposed stone walls and beams, natural wood doors and oak flooring.
