The charming South Devon stannery town of Ashburton can also be found close by and offers an excellent range of local shops and facilities. Take a drive towards the coast and discover the pretty South Hams an area of exceptional beauty and contrast with fabulous beaches river estuaries rolling hills and thatched cottages surrounding the lovely old towns of Dartmouth Totnes Kingsbridge Salcombe Modbury and Ivybridge. Other attractions nearby including the English Riviera Kent Caverns Paignton Zoo and Plymouth Marine Aquarium. The accommodation offers ONE pretty double bedroom. Designed with fine living in mind the property is finished to a high specification and offers superb holiday accommodation. On-site is an unused encased water wheel. Conveniently positioned to offer direct walking access on to Dartmoor National Park and a short drive from the charming South Devon stannery town of Ashburton which hosts an excellent range of local shops and facilities as well as being in close proximity of many recreational amenities such as golf horse riding fishing magnificent moorland escapes and the renowned beaches on the South Devon coastline. The reverse level accommodation is light spacious and of an extremely high quality and offers TWO bedrooms: located downstairs 1 super-king-size with en-suite wet room including bath shower and WC. 1 twin room with en-suite shower room with WC. Access may be gained via the bedrooms to a large enclosed courtyard with seating. Separate WC also situated downstairs. Upstairs entering through large glass doors across a small moat bridge brings you into the large living area. Lounge/kitchen/diner: open-plan with vaulted ceiling exposed beams solid oak flooring and contemporary column radiators. Lounge area has woodburner (logs provided) 42 TV with Freeview DVD and countryside views. Kitchen area with granite worktops and coloured splash backs electric oven with electric induction hob built-in microwave and dishwasher. A downstairs cupboard houses the washing machine and freezer (under-counter standard size with drawers). Outside: due to the nature of a working water wheel the property was once surrounded by a water moat (now dry) and there are steep slopes around the property - please take care and young children will need supervision.
