There are coastal walks right on the doorstep or venture further afield towards Exmoor National Park which is beautiful in all seasons. You will be ideally positioned for touring the whole area with all year attractions including National Trust s Arlington Court Watermouth Castle and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park. The golden sands of Woolacombe Croyde and Saunton Sands are 10 minutes by car. Also a short drive away is the sandy Dunster beach (near Dunster Steam Railway station) which has a pleasant lawn area and good facilities including excellent refreshments shop and cafe. With so much to see and do in the immediate vicinity you may not need to use the car however the many attractions of the wider area ensure that there is plenty for everyone.
