Summerville is a tastefully modernised 19th century cottage in a superb location beside the cascading East Lyn River in a beautiful area surrounded by dramatic scenery both inland and along the coast. Approached across a pretty front garden with driftwood path, the spacious entrance hall leads into a stylish, well proportioned, dual aspect living room with large bay window and wood burning stove, ideal for those cosy cooler evenings. Across the hall to the left is a spacious dual aspect dining kitchen with rustic style beech units and butler sink with slate surround, complemented by a limestone tiled floor. A rear door leads out onto the small private courtyard. Upstairs are three attractive bedrooms all served by a family bathroom and separate cloakroom. The master double and a twin room enjoy views across the river and the second twin room is at the rear. Many examples of the beauty of Exmoor National Park are nearby including the Doone Valley, Valley of the Rocks, Woody Bay and the Brendon Hills. Relax in the sunny front paved garden with the sound of the river as it winds its way down to the sea or stroll down to the harbour and jump aboard the cliff railway to Lynton. This pretty cottage is in a perfect location for keen walkers and family groups and a lovely home to return to after a busy day.
