The end and mid terrace cottages are situated on the road to Bradworthy and have river and Yeo Valley views. A short drive to various local surfing beaches (20 minutes drive to the 2 miles of golden sandy beach at Westward Ho!) The market town of Bideford has a range of shops pubs restaurants and a pannier market and is home to the Oldenburg which offers boat trips to Lundy Island. Other attractions close by include RHS Rosemoor Gardens Dartington Crystal The Big Sheep The Milky Way and some of the finest National Trust cliff-top walks in the area. The property is also close to the Tarka Trail popular with walkers and cyclists and is located on a favoured cycling route up the Yeo Valley. Relax in the conservatory with reflective glass to keep cool in the summer and warm in the winter or sit on the raised patio in the garden overlooking the valley. Nestling in the grounds of the owners own beautiful 16th century thatched Devon Longhouse, the elevated position ensures stunning countryside views and on a clear day Croyde Bay can be glimpsed from the south facing balcony. This is a lovely spot to enjoy meals al fresco or evening drinks under the stars. A gravel path and steps lead up to the front entrance and into the open plan living room with comfy leather sofa and flat screen wall mounted TV. The modern kitchen area is well equipped, featuring a breakfast bar, and there is one double bedroom with an ensuite shower room. Weez House is an ideal choice for surfers, and keen walkers will enjoy exploring the footpath leading almost from the doorstep to the stunning beach at Putsborough around 20 minutes away. To holiday with friends we also have a cottage called Thatcher’s Leggett in the same location. Croyde offers everything you could need in a seaside village, a renowned surfing beach, character cottages and a great selection of pubs and restaurants. Weez House is something a little different, perfect for couples and a welcoming retreat at the end of a fun filled day. Please note that infants are not accepted.
